Our Story

BOS Fencing was established by our owner, Travis Bos, in 2016 and we are among the top fencing contractors in Des Moines, Iowa. Travis can ensure that all of our clients receive superb service because he and his crew bring extensive experience to the industry.

Travis has a passion for customer satisfaction and works hard to ensure that all of his customers are completely satisfied with every aspect of their job. He is trusted by dozens of families in Des Moines because he will stand behind every installation he has completed and ensure it meets or exceeds their expectations.

Travis is a veteran of the Marine Corps and he is passionate about providing his customers with the best experience possible. Beauty and The Beast! Bos Fencing products are attractive and they have enhanced the appearance of our property. They are also tough as nails (or steel posts) too! Our cedar fence was installed just before the derecho in 2021. Other neighbors lost panels and wood post snapped like toothpicks. The steel posts the Bos uses didn't budge. The recent storms in spring of 2024 caused major damage to our neighbors' property. Some lost trees, and had damage to buildings. The Bos fence surrounding our property held up once again.
